Crimson, Sienna, Ochre and Umber… Nature, warmth, and sheer gentleness, all merged and blended. Meena Om Sehgal is a person who belongs to the earth. Over the years she has worked with craft persons in Bihar, Orissa, Rajasthan and South India, picking up each fibre in complete harmony of color and blend, creating a symphony, a tribute to the senses. She has also been guiding young artists for over fifteen years, sharing with them her knowledge of fabric, design and colour.
Her experience over the years, now fine tuned, reflects in her paintings on canvas and paper. Meena’s current works are a representation of her surroundings and her person.
