Artist Statment
Nothing disappears without a trace. Life’s experiences embedded within us are like special recordings of time that capture aspects of our journey through life. Tangible events inscribe themselves, leaving behind impressions.  Abstraction helps me towards an integration of thought and spirit with the beauty in our everyday lives. As the image emerges, it reaches out towards a truth - an intuitive understanding of the nature of reality. The Journey of the line…….has been an integral part of my work. It is the line for me which turns, twists, makes a wedge, engulfs space, creates a form, lending each work a graphic tactile quality. This line, infused with the energy, begins to tell its own story creating an environment which is beyond my conscious imagination.
